Privacy Policy

This policy explains how QUANT-CAGE ("we"), operating this service, collects, uses, and shares personal data of the people who use it. QUANT-CAGE is based in and governed by the laws of Poland. • Account data — email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and an optional username/avatar you set for your public profile.
• Subscription & payment data — your subscription plan and status, and identifiers Stripe gives us to manage your subscription (customer ID, subscription ID). We never see or store your card number, expiry date, or CVC — Stripe collects and stores that directly, and we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.
• Activity data — the fight picks you submit, and, if you sign up through an affiliate link, a short-lived referral cookie identifying which affiliate referred you.
• Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested pages) generated by our hosting and database infrastructure for security and debugging purposes.

We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are functional: keeping you signed in, and remembering an affiliate referral for a limited time.

• To create and secure your account, and let you sign in;
• To process your subscription — billing, plan access, and responding to support requests about it;
• To operate features you use directly: picks, the leaderboard, badges, and your public profile;
• To attribute a signup to an affiliate when you arrive through their link, so we can pay that affiliate correctly;
• To keep the service secure and working — detecting abuse, debugging errors, and maintaining server logs.

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers ("sub-processors") that run parts of QUANT-CAGE on our behalf:

• Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores your payment method and billing details directly. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (sign-in sessions, password storage). Your account data, picks, and profile live in Supabase's infrastructure.
• Anthropic — we send fighter and market-odds data to Anthropic's API to generate the AI fight analyses published on the site. This request does not include your personal account data (email, password, payment details) — only the fight/odds data needed to produce the analysis.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of QUANT-CAGE or our users.

Some of our sub-processors are based, or process data on servers located, outside the European Economic Area — notably Anthropic, which is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the safeguards required by GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure it receives an equivalent level of protection.

If you're in the European Economic Area (or wherever GDPR applies to you), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Rectify inaccurate data;
• Erase your data (e.g. by deleting your account), subject to what we're legally required to keep — see Section 7;
• Port your data to another service in a structured, machine-readable format;
• Object to certain processing, and request that we restrict processing in some cases.

To exercise any of these, email quant.cage@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Poland, the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it longer — for example, billing records, which Polish tax law requires us to keep for accounting purposes (generally five years from the end of the relevant tax year).

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, notify active subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
